Redworx delivered the mechanical package for the fit-out of a new level 1 trading floor at Devonshire Square, alongside the creation of a new security facility at ground floor level.
The project required the adaptation and extension of existing building services to support the highly serviced trading environment while integrating seamlessly with the wider building infrastructure.
Engineering the solution
The works included modifications to chilled water, low-temperature hot water, ventilation and drainage systems, together with associated lagging and trace heating installations. Extensive coordination was required to integrate the new services within the existing building infrastructure, all while the project was delivered beneath an active trading floor within a live commercial building.
Detailed planning, careful sequencing and extensive out-of-hours working were required to manage noise and facilitate service connection.
Delivering the outcome
