Project brief
Stonecutter Court was a high-profile, fast-track commercial fit-out delivered for one of Redworx's key clients, Overbury. The project involved the delivery of a full Mechanical and Public Health package across nine floors of premium office accommodation, including open-plan and cellular workspaces, collaboration areas, support facilities, a large commercial kitchen and an auditorium.
The scale and complexity of the development demanded close coordination across multiple disciplines, bespoke engineering solutions and a programme-focused approach throughout.
Engineering the solution
Redworx delivered extensive mechanical pipework, ductwork, BMS integration, sprinkler systems, domestic water services and drainage infrastructure. The installation included more than 600 fan coil units serving office spaces throughout the building, alongside dedicated critical cooling systems for communications rooms and other specialist environments.
The scheme also incorporated independent ventilation systems serving the auditorium space, and large commercial kitchen. General ventilation was provided from the centralised landlord plant, with on-floor VAV terminal units regulating airflow according to occupancy demand and CO₂ levels.
Delivering the outcome
Working closely with Overbury and the wider project team, Redworx successfully delivered a complex, large-scale MEP installation within programme while maintaining the high standards expected of a flagship City development.
The completed building provides a high-performance workplace supported by reliable, efficient and future-ready building services infrastructure.
